SRX3406417: Whole genome sequencing of E. yunnanense
1 ILLUMINA (HiSeq X Ten) run: 33.8M spots, 10.1G bases, 4.3Gb downloads

Design: To generate the genomic data for E. heterophyllum and E. yunnanense, we used the CTAB method to extract high-quality genomic DNA from 5g of leaf tissues for each species. The quality of the high molecular weight DNA was checked by 1% agarose gel electrophoresis. Around 200 ¦Ìg of genomic DNA was used for library construction. We extracted total RNA for each tissue collected from both species (i.e. leaves, flowers and roots for E. heterophyllum, and leaves, leafstalks and roots for E. yunnanense). The quality of the extracted RNA was verified on a 1% agarose gel. DNase treatment was performed before library construction. For each sample, 5 ¦Ìg of the total high-quality RNA was used for sequencing.

Study: The genomes of two Eutrema species
show Abstracthide Abstract
To investigate the high-altitude adaptation in plants, we generated genomic data for two diploid perennial species of the Eutrema genus (Brassicaceae). The two genomes reported here constitute important genetic resources for diverse studies.
